Steve is Global Head of People Insights and Analytics at Standard Chartered. He is a highly experienced people analytics leader who is driven by a clear purpose to create client, economic and cultural value by providing data driven insights and analytics that inform meaningful HR and Business decisions. He delivers this through developing strong collaborative partnerships across HR and the Business.
Steve leads a team of circa 50 colleagues in London, Singapore, Bangalore and Chennai with responsibility for delivering value adding operational reporting, action focused insight and advanced analytics products to a global audience of HR professionals, business leaders and people leaders across 60 markets. Since joining Standard Chartered in October 2019 Steve has set a new strategic direction for workforce analytics that focuses on data democratisation and forward-facing analytics. This is being underpinned with a new stakeholder focused team structure, streamlined operational processes and a redesigned master data management framework.
Steve was previously Head of Workforce Analytics and Strategic Workforce Planning at Lloyds Banking Group.

He is a also passionate about building a data driven HR function and spends significant time thinking about and developing the building blocks required to create this, including the upskilling and reskilling of his HR colleagues.
